Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2025
1. Overview
NSToolKit (“we”, “our”, or “the site”) provides free online network and developer tools at nstoolkit.net. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.
2. Data Collected by Our Tools
Many tools on this site (DNS lookup, ping, traceroute, WHOIS, SSL checker, etc.) perform server-side queries using the domain names, IP addresses, or URLs you enter. These inputs are used solely to execute the requested lookup and return results. We do not store, log, or associate these inputs with your identity.
3. Analytics
We use a self-hosted analytics service to collect aggregate, anonymous usage statistics (page views, tool usage counts). This service does not use cookies and does not track individual users or collect personally identifiable information.
4. Advertising — Google AdSense
This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out via the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
5. Cookies
NSToolKit itself does not set first-party cookies. Third-party services (Google AdSense) may set cookies in your browser for advertising purposes as described above. You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings.
6. Third-Party Services
The IP Geolocation tool queries the ip-api.com API with the IP address you provide. Please review their privacy policy for how they handle query data. No other tool on this site shares your input data with third-party services.
7. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
